The Hamrick-Goode House offers three guestrooms, each with its own unique décor and private bath (each room accommodates two adults). Handsome furnishings, combined with period pieces including family heirlooms and keepsake antiques, are displayed throughout the guestrooms, living room, sitting room and full kitchen. Custom-made window treatments and original doors and hardware accentuate the elegant environment. The large wrap-around porch, complete with oversized rockers and an inviting porch swing, offers a picturesque view of nearby Gardner-Webb University.

The Wisteria Guestroom

This downstairs room features a full size Eastlake mahogany bed with antique quilt, Eastlake rocker, serpentine front chest of drawers with hand carved mirror, and private leg tub bath. Decorated in muted green, terra cotta, cream, gold and soft red, the room features a 12-ft. ceiling with ceiling fan. This guestroom can be rented with the original Living Room and Kitchen.

The Rose Guestroom

Decorated in soft blues, peaches and green tones, this downstairs guestroom features a full size, oak carved high back bed, oak carved dresser, antique washstand, and a comfortable stuffed chair. This room contains all hardwood floors, original pine doors and hardware, and original artwork from area artists. Private slipper tub bath and designer console sink are adjacent. The porch is accessible via a private entrance. The room has a 12-ft. ceiling with ceiling fan and can be rented with the Sitting Room.

The Lavender Guestroom

Featuring a small desk and sitting area, this upstairs guestroom is decorated in varying shades of plum and green tones. A full size, hand carved antique “cupid’s bow” bed with quilt, a toile covered antique folding screen and writing desk complete the cozy surroundings. This carpeted room offers a private bath with step-in shower and pedestal sink for your comfort.

Living Room

This room opens to the foyer and offers a comfortable seating arrangement with a plush camel back couch, love seat and chair. Bright golds, terra cotta, brick reds, greens and various shades of plum are highlighted in the décor. An antique mantel crowns a newly restored fireplace, adjacent to a handmade corner cabinet, housing a television for your entertainment.

Sitting Room

Adjacent to the Rose Guestroom, this charming area incorporates the same décor. Features a tiger oak chaise lounge, antique Victorian settee, stagecoach cabinet with television, restored original fireplace, and an English Barley Twist Gate Leg Table which is perfect for games or casual meals. This room contains beautiful hardwood floors, original pine doors and hardware.

Full Kitchen

Enjoy old country charm with modern day amenities! This completely renovated kitchen features white, beadboard custom cabinetry finished with antique glass, antique farmhouse table and chairs, silestone countertops, and a restored original fireplace. Original art etchings complete the perfect blending of old with new. The kitchen is fully functional, with all of the modern appliances available for your use.

Full Accommodations Plan / WISTERIA, ROSE & LAVENDER GUESTROOMS
In addition to the Midlevel Accommodations above, add the upstairs Lavender guestroom and bath for an additional $65.00/nightly; accommodates up to 6 persons
Total: $240.00 per night or weekly for $1,150.00/per week

The Hamrick-Goode House has central air conditioning, telephones in each guestroom and televisions located in each living space. All fireplaces are equipped with gas logs, operational in the winter months only. Pets and smoking are not permitted. Children 12 and over are welcome guests at the Hamrick-Goode House. Maximum occupancy: two persons per bedroom.
